About Me
With a strong foundation in community mental health since 2017, I've developed valuable counseling skills and a deep understanding of diverse populations. Now in my solo practice, I focus on helping teens &
adults from all backgrounds achieve their personal goals. As a person with AuDHD myself, I am passionate about supporting other neurodivergent individuals work on building balance in their lives.
Other areas of specialization include helping clients work through issues related to anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and supporting the LGBTQIA+ population with affirming care.
My counseling style is strengths-based, empathic, and collaborative. I incorporate various counseling techniques tailored to each individual by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based, person-centered and relational approaches. I also love to incorporate use of play techniques and creative arts approaches.
My work is founded on developing a strong therapeutic relationship by being genuine, transparent, and nurturing to encourage growth and promote healing.
During our time together, we’ll work to create goals, process through stressors, and practice coping skills to provide what you need to move your life forward with confidence.
